La Lombardia
Lombardy
Two distinct expressions — the traditional-method sparkling wines of Franciacorta and the steep terraced Nebbiolo of Valtellina.
About the Region
Lombardy hosts two of Italy's most compelling and contrasting wine zones. Franciacorta, on the morainic soils south of Lake Iseo, produces Italy's most serious traditional-method sparkling wines — certified organic estates here rival Champagne for quality and consistency. Valtellina, carved into the steep alpine slopes of the Rhaetian Alps, produces Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) at altitude, where granite soils and cool mountain air shape wines of remarkable freshness and structural restraint. Terra Trionfo sources from both zones, bringing complementary styles — sparkling and still, Franciacorta and alpine — within a single regional story.
Varied — moraine and lake-moderated soils in Franciacorta; steep granite alpine slopes and dramatic altitude in Valtellina.

Lantieri Franciacorta Brut
Franciacorta DOCG
Sparkling
Franciacorta · Lombardy
Crafted from certified organic Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, and Pinot Bianco grown on the morainic glacier soils south of Lake Iseo, this Brut undergoes extended secondary fermentation in bottle — the same Méthode Champenoise as Champagne. The palate delivers green apple, white peach, citrus zest, and a brioche character from lees contact, with a fine, persistent perlage that separates serious Franciacorta from industrial Prosecco. One of Italy's most credible aperitif-to-table sparkling wines at a fraction of Champagne pricing.
Lantieri Franciacorta Satèn
Franciacorta DOCG
Sparkling
Franciacorta · Lombardy
Satèn is Franciacorta's most distinctive category — a Blanc de Blancs style produced exclusively from white varieties at reduced pressure, resulting in a uniquely soft, silky mousse unlike any other Italian sparkling wine. Lantieri's certified organic expression balances delicate white flower, lemon cream, ripe pear, and a gentle hazelnut note with a rounded, lingering finish shaped by extended time on the lees. The choice for guests who want Champagne quality and character without the Champagne price or the Prosecco compromise.
Lantieri Franciacorta Brut Rosé
Franciacorta DOCG
Sparkling
Franciacorta · Lombardy
Pinot Nero brings structure, colour, and depth to this certified organic Franciacorta Brut Rosé — showing wild strawberry, raspberry, and a cream note on the nose, with a clean, dry finish and fine persistent bubbles. The Pinot backbone gives it more presence and length than most Italian sparkling rosés, making it credible from aperitif through a full meal with delicate fish or charcuterie. Champagne-method quality and organic credentials at a price point that works on any programme.
Luca Faccinelli Valtellina Rosso
Valtellina DOC
Red
Valtellina · Lombardy
Chiavennasca is the local name for Nebbiolo in Valtellina — and at 400–800 metres on steep granite terraces above the Adda River, the grape expresses itself in a way that Barolo never can: lighter in body, more aromatic, more mineral, and dramatically more food-flexible. Red cherry, alpine herb, dried rose, and a stony granite minerality on the finish define this expression, with the freshness and lower alcohol that altitude delivers. Almost entirely absent from U.S. import portfolios — a genuine sommelier discovery wine at an accessible price.
Luca Faccinelli Valtellina Superiore
Valtellina Superiore DOCG
Red
Valtellina · Lombardy
From old-vine Chiavennasca grown on Valtellina's most demanding terraced slopes, this DOCG Superiore is the most structured and age-worthy wine in the Faccinelli range — deeper colour, greater concentration, and a longer evolution on the palate than the Rosso. Dried cherry, iron, leather, dried alpine herb, and a stony mineral backbone come together over a fine, persistent tannin structure that warrants 5–8 years of patience. A wine of genuine Italian distinction that holds its own beside Barolo at half the price, with the added credential of hand-cultivated mountain viticulture almost no U.S. importer currently brings to market.
