From old-vine Chiavennasca grown on Valtellina's most demanding terraced slopes, this DOCG Superiore is the most structured and age-worthy wine in the Faccinelli range — deeper colour, greater concentration, and a longer evolution on the palate than the Rosso. Dried cherry, iron, leather, dried alpine herb, and a stony mineral backbone come together over a fine, persistent tannin structure that warrants 5–8 years of patience.
