Our Approach
Imported with Intention
Terra Trionfo is not simply a catalog — it is a curated relationship between artisan Italian producers and a discerning American audience.
We work closely with trusted partners and producers across Italy to identify wines and olive oils that express true regional character. Each estate represented through Terra Trionfo reflects provenance, craft, and a commitment to authenticity.
Every estate we represent reflects a place, a family, and a tradition worth preserving.
Trusted Producer Relationships
Terra Trionfo collaborates with experienced export partners and independent producers across Italy to identify estates whose wines and oils reflect regional character, tradition, and craft.
Regional Identity
Italy's greatest wines and olive oils are inseparable from their regions. Terra Trionfo focuses on producers whose work reflects the character of their landscapes, traditions, and local varieties.
Artisan Producers
Terra Trionfo prioritizes family estates, small growers, and independent producers whose focus remains on quality, provenance, and craft.
Reviewed Before Introduction
Every wine and olive oil considered for Terra Trionfo is evaluated before it is introduced through the marketplace. Our goal is to present producers thoughtfully and ensure each offering reflects the standards of the Terra Trionfo platform.
Italian Provenance
Exploring Italy's Wine Regions
Italy's wine heritage is defined by remarkable regional diversity. As Terra Trionfo develops its portfolio, we focus on producers rooted in regions known for distinctive traditions, terroir, and local varieties.
Piemonte
Two estates across Barolo country and the Piemonte Alps — Nebbiolo in its most powerful DOCG form and its most alpine, high-altitude expression.
Lombardy
Franciacorta’s certified organic traditional-method sparkling wines alongside Valtellina’s steep-terraced alpine Nebbiolo — two of Italy’s most distinct expressions in one region.
Trentino–Alto Adige
High-altitude Dolomite vineyards producing alpine whites and native reds with precision, freshness, and a mountain character found nowhere else in Italy.
Emilia-Romagna
Certified organic Adriatic coast estate producing native varietals — including the near-extinct Burson grape — with vegan certification and Italy’s most innovative small-format canned wine range.

Wines Under Evaluation
Six Italian estates currently being tasted for U.S. import — from Barolo and Franciacorta to alpine Nebbiolo and organic Emilia-Romagna.
Stroppiana Barolo Bussia
Barolo Bussia Cru
Barolo
La Morra · Bussia · Verduno · Piemonte
Bussia is one of the most celebrated crus in all of Barolo — a southeast-facing subzone in Monforte d'Alba prized for wines of density, depth, and uncommon longevity. This single-vineyard expression shows dried rose, tobacco, licorice, and dark cherry, with iron and tar minerality delivering the firm, gripping tannin structure that defines great Bussia. Best approached at 7–12 years; an essential cellar candidate at its price point, with 93-point recognition from James Suckling.
Stroppiana Barolo "Leonardo"
Barolo DOCG
Barolo
La Morra · Bussia · Verduno · Piemonte
From La Morra — the most aromatic and perfumed subzone of Barolo — this Nebbiolo opens with dried rose, violet, and wild cherry, deepening into iron, dried herb, and a mineral thread on a palate framed by firm but refined tannins. Lively acidity and a lingering finish give it the structure to reward 5–10 years of cellaring, while its elegant profile and accessible price make it equally suited to the by-the-glass programme today.
Lantieri Franciacorta Satèn
Franciacorta DOCG
Sparkling
Franciacorta · Lombardy
Satèn is Franciacorta's most distinctive category — a Blanc de Blancs style produced exclusively from white varieties at reduced pressure, resulting in a uniquely soft, silky mousse unlike any other Italian sparkling wine. Lantieri's certified organic expression balances delicate white flower, lemon cream, ripe pear, and a gentle hazelnut note with a rounded, lingering finish shaped by extended time on the lees. The choice for guests who want Champagne quality and character without the Champagne price or the Prosecco compromise.
Zanotelli Kerner
White
Dolomites · Trentino-Alto Adige
Kerner is one of the Alto Adige's most expressive native varietals — a cross of Riesling and Trollinger cultivated exclusively at high alpine elevations where cool mountain air preserves aromatics that warmer climates simply cannot achieve. Zanotelli's expression delivers grapefruit zest, white peach, a precise floral lift, and a vivid mineral backbone that lingers long on the finish. Almost entirely absent from U.S. import lists at present, this is a genuine point-of-difference wine for sommeliers and wine-literate consumers who want something they haven't tasted before.
Luca Faccinelli Valtellina Superiore
Valtellina Superiore DOCG
Red
Valtellina · Lombardy
From old-vine Chiavennasca grown on Valtellina's most demanding terraced slopes, this DOCG Superiore is the most structured and age-worthy wine in the Faccinelli range — deeper colour, greater concentration, and a longer evolution on the palate than the Rosso. Dried cherry, iron, leather, dried alpine herb, and a stony mineral backbone come together over a fine, persistent tannin structure that warrants 5–8 years of patience. A wine of genuine Italian distinction that holds its own beside Barolo at half the price, with the added credential of hand-cultivated mountain viticulture almost no U.S. importer currently brings to market.
L'Autin Timorasso
White
Mount Monviso · Piemonte Alps
Timorasso is Piemonte's most compelling native white — a grape capable of producing structured, textured wines of real depth and aging potential, for decades overlooked in favour of international varieties, and now being rediscovered by sommeliers across Italy and beyond. L'Autin's certified organic expression from Mount Monviso altitude shows ripe pear, hazelnut, white mineral, and a lanolin richness on the palate, with an unusually long and saline finish that rewards the table rather than the aperitif. One of the most compelling Italian whites entering the U.S. market — essential for fine dining programmes, serious collectors, and any account building a credible Italian white wine narrative.
